Be Healed!!

Jesus suffered so you wouldn't have to. Don't waste His gift. He was beaten, bruised and bloodied, so you could be healthy whole and healed! You don't have to walk around sick and confused when the price has already been paid for you to be healthy and strong.

I love the part of this song when Canton Jones says "I,m crazy enough to go to the hospice floor where people have been given up to die, and pull out a bull horn and stand there and say 'Now to Him who is able, to do exceedingly above, Be Healed!'"
God desires us to be healed! He wants us to be healed! His Son paid much to high a price to waste what He bought for us....our Healing!!

Don't be satisfied with just "BGB" (barely getting by).....Don't be content with dealing with back pain, cancer, heart disease, headaches, joint problems, genetic issues, blood diseases, stomach flus, common colds, AIDS or anything else!! Be Healed!

Jesus suffered so you wouldn't have to. Don't waste His gift.

BE HEALED!

Who He is!!!

I love the line of this song that says "If I'm worth dying for, yes this God is worth Living for".
We all know how it feels when we give up something or we do something major for someone, and they either don't notice, or don't really care. That is how Jesus must feel sometimes. He gave His life for us and we so often don't notice or even care. If we were worth dying for, than surely this God is worth living for.

"Because of who He is, He makes me want to give Him more and more." My God is so mighty and just because He is who He is, we should want to give Him more and more. We need to recognize that we should give ourselves to Him, just because He is worthy of it. But, just like I told my girls in my camp huddle today, its not like we are being taken off to a prisoner of war camp when we surrender to Him. No, we are being given a new life, chance and beginning. Our lives become better, just because of Who He Is.

Thanking Him for who He is,
Hannah

You Love Me Anyway

No matter what we do....He loves us still. I love the part of this song that says "I was Judas' kiss, but you love me anyway." Even when we betray Him, He loves us still!

I don't understand why Jesus died for the people who were screaming to crucify Him, I don't understand why Jesus died for the people who drove nails into His wrists, I don't understand why Jesus died for the Pharisees who hated Him, I don't understand why Jesus died for the people who ripped open His back, I don't understand why Jesus died for me.

Why? Why would Jesus suffer and die for people who didn't even care?!?!?!? Why did He hang on the cross and forgive those crucifying Him? Why?

How could He love the people who blasphemed Him, who hated Him, crucified Him, taunted Him, criticised Him and disregarded Him?!?!? How?

How can we live a life of betrayal and ignorance to the Man who gave His all for us? How can we live like that?

Examining my heart,

Abba

This is one of the most powerful prophetic songs ever. God wants to heal, restore, redeem, establish and love on you like no one else ever could.
No matter what has happened to you, what you have done, where you are at or what you are doing, God is there ready to love you and delight in you. Whether you have a perfect father, or you have never seen your father, God desires to be your daddy.

He is proud  to be your father. Many people have fathers who have left them, abandoned them, disowned them, critized them, abused them and desire to have nothing to do with them. However, your heavenly Father is proud of you. He loves you.

We don't have to be alone anymore. The pain, loneliness, rejection, insecurity, low self-esteem, fear, and bitterness that may have resulted from the "father wound", can be broken! You don't have to walk in this junk anymore! Though people may fail you-He will never fail you! Though people may walk away-He will always be there!

You don't have to be alone!!!!!! He will be your father when you have no one else to turn to!!! When you are alone-He will be there. There is no one like your Father-your Daddy. There is no one who will die for you like He did. There is no one who loves you like He loves you.........

He is proud of you.......always remember.....

Thankful for my Daddy,
Hannah

Walking on The Stars!!

"You save me from myself and all i do"......I love this line. I often need someone to take me away and save me from myself!! And God is always there to take us away......and leave us "walking on the stars....."
Have you ever had a time where you depend on a person so much.....and when they aren't there life just isn't the same? Well that is the way it should be with our Creator. Life just shoudn't be the same when He is with us, we are with Him, or we have walked away from Him. Life should alter majorly around Him......He should leave us "walking on the stars......"

Walking on the stars,
Hannah

Go Hard!!

Why is it that we will go all out for something that doesn't really matter, yet we just "play" with our Christianity? We will do crazy things, like die on a basketball court, go mountain climbing, sky diving, racing, ride motorcycles, surfing or anything else, yet we won't give God more than a second glance on Sunday morning.
I love the line of this song where it says, "what's the point of living if we're living for ourselves?". I mean, for real......what is the point of living if we are living for ourselves? Do those things really matter? Don't get me wrong, I love doing crazy things, but why do I so often give more of myself in a basketball game than I do in a worship service, or in my prayer time? Why do I "go hard" for useless and temporary things instead of things that have eternal and lasting value? What is more important?

going hard for Christ,
Hannah

Captivated

Everything He does screams of His might, power, strength, greatness, awesomeness, brilliance and love. We should be so in awe of Him, that we are literally captivated. This song sums it up completely. From the sand on the shore, to the moon in the sky, His power is evident. From the breath in our lungs to the way He made us, His brilliance sparkles. From the blue in the sky to the glorious mountains, His greatness is obvious. From the waves in the ocean to the beautiful flowers in the field, His might is echoed. EVERYTHING He does is INCREDIBLE......INDESCRIBABLE....

"Who among the gods is like you, O Lord? Who is like you-majestic in holiness, awesome in glory, working wonders?"    Exodus 15:11

In awe of His greatness,
Hannah

Background...

Who is in control of your life?
Most of us like to think we have everything under control. We think we can take care of ourselves, our needs, our problems, our life. We struggle with ever really giving our life over completely to God. We get "saved" and we think we are good. But, have you ever wondered if that is all God really wants? Maybe He is looking for more.....Maybe He is looking to completely take control of our life and let us play the background......
I believe there is something deeper in the Christian walk. There has to be something bigger to our faith. If our God is simply asking for us to believe He exists...then fine....The Bible says even the demons know that.....But maybe He is asking for EVERYTHING....Its a hard concept to grasp.
Maybe instead of Him playing the background in our life, we should play the background to His life.

Playing the Background,
Hannah

Your Very Best!!

I know personally there have been times in my life when I am about out of strength. Sometimes I feel like there have been too many hard balls thrown at me and my family. I feel the urge to give up, and throw in the towel. I feel like I have experienced the last little bit that I could handle, but then I have to ask myself, "is that really it, is it all I got, have I really given my very best?"

This is a familiar clip from Facing the Giants where Brock is doing the death crawl. He's coach is yelling at him telling him to give it all, to do his very best. Every time I watch this video it makes me ask myself, am I really giving my very best, in my everyday projects and accomplishments? Do I just give enough to barely get by, to barely get an A, to barely finish my job, to barely make it through life? Or am I giving my all on everything I do?

I don't know about you, but I want to live my life to its maximum potential. I want people to see my life as an example of someone who didn't quit, didn't give up, gave everything they had and gave their very best to all they did.

We don't have to do it alone though. In our own strength, we are hopeless. We can't be the very best or even give the very best if we try to do it ourself. Our job is to not give up, stand firm and see the deliverance of the Lord. 2 Chronicles 20:17 says "You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the LORD will give you, Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the LORD will be with you."

We don't have to do it ourself!!!! The Lord is with us!! "Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged." Go to work, school or even your home with a renewed passion to give your best, and then see the deliverance the Lord will give you!

Giving my best,
Hannah

It's time to let go!!

If you have ever watched Finding Nemo you probably remember this part. One of my favorite clips is whenever Dori tells Marlin that is is time to let go.

Recently God has been speaking this same word to me. It is time to let go of the things in your life you continue to cling to. Its time to let go of fear, anger, rebellion, pride, offense, selfishness or anything else that is not advancing the Kingdom of God. But, the difference between Dori and God? God does know what is going to happen, and if you let Him take control of your life, His "pruning" will only be for your good.

Today let go of things that continue to cling to you. Make a decision to give these things to God, and don't them back. Let go of the sin in your life, or even the things that aren't necessarily wrong, yet they distract you from your full purpose. Let go of the past, let go of the future!! Surrender your everything to God!! Give Him your life....and let go of everything else!!!

It's Time To Let Go!!!

That's My King!!

That's my King!!! I don't know about you....but my God is a GREAT God!! My King is the King of the Jews, He's the King of Israel.....HE's the KING OF KINGS!!!!!  I guess my question for you today (or rather Dr. S.M. Lockridge's question) is....Do you know Him?!?!?

I mean REALLY know Him?!?!? I don't mean that you have been to church every Sunday, or that you hear about Him on Christmas and Easter...I mean "DO YOU KNOW HIM?!?!?"

I will tell you one thing today.....He is worth getting to know!! Don't become content with your head knowledge of Him...get to know Him!!!

We were talking earlier today about this one ladies blog that we all wanted to follow. But, Tara mentioned that she was so big (as in famous) she wouldn't follow you back. I want to tell you today that no matter how MASSIVE my God is....He WILL follow you back!!!!! The Bible says if you seek Him, you WILL find Him!!! Don't be satisfied with the relationship you have now with God.....Go DEEPER!!!

Honestly, this movie gets me every time. I have probably watched this clip a hundred times. I typed every word out and memorized it all.....and all because I simply REFUSE to settle with what I now know, understand or comprehend of my God!! He is so incredible, you can't descripe, define or really understand Him....if He is that big, don't you thing He has something still bigger for you?!?!?! I don't care if you are the best pastor in the world, or the worst person to every walk this earth, He still has a bigger, deeper, stronger and more awesomely incredible relationship He wants to have with you!!!

Do You Know Him?!?!?!

Going deeper,
Hannah

Don't Quit!!!

God has created you for this season. Don't grow weary in well doing. Many times we get on fire for the Lord, and we start doing incredible works that are changing lives. But it is all too easy to grow tired, discouraged and weary. We, like Peter, start to look at the great waves and the raging storm around us, and we lose faith and start to doubt. But, today is your day!!

We are created for this season, this day, this year and this lifetime!!! Don't quit!!!! Don't give up!! Stand strong and see the deliverance of the Lord!! We don't have to doubt, fear or become discouraged!! Because greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world!!! Our God does not get tried or grow weary, and we don't have to either. Isaiah 40:31 says "but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

Like Misty Edwards says "Don't give up, Don't give in, if you don't quit.....you'll win...you'll win!"

Enduring till the end,
Hannah

For What?!?!?!

Like I talked about earlier, there is a battle raging around us. Last year at Reality my dad and brother talked about this very subject, and I want to relate what I learned.

Why are you living? What are you living for? I mean, what is your one motive that helps you get up in the morning and live your life everyday. What keeps you going, in this battle of life? For What?

In The Chronicles of Narnia, Peter went into war declaring "For Narnia, and for Aslan!!!". But what are you declaring in your everyday battle? Are you crying out for yourself, or are you crying for the Kingdom. Peter could have declared "For our freedom and our happiness!!!", but he didn't. He cried out for the kingdom!!!

What are you living for?!?!?! Are you living for the Kingdom, or for yourself......

For What?!?!?

Living for the Kingdom,
Hannah

Are you with Me?

There is a battle raging around us. We have a choice for who and what we will live for. The Kingdom of Darkness is ready to destroy us. We have to decide for ourselves, or the decision will be made for us. It's an all or nothing decision.
The Devil is not interested in taking you captive, he wants to kill you. You have the choice of whether or not you are going to let him.
Right now God is asking if you are with Him, and the only answer He is interested in is "to the death". But I guarantee you this, when you ask Him the same question, He has already proved His answer by dying for us. He has already won the battle, we just have to decide if we are with Him in the victory.

Mom, ATF and Flame!!!

Soooo....I guess there are some pretty cool advantages to having your mom tour every weekend with ATF (Acquire the Fire). I mean we miss her a lot at home.....but she is doing some awesome stuff while she is gone. I went with her this past weekend to Kansas City. It was a pretty good trip, though it had a few difficulties. One of the best parts though was seeing Flame in concert!! My mom and sister, Kalyn, had already met Flame and even got me a personal note from him!! So i was obviously pretty excited this weekend about seeing him. He had a great concert and he even did my favorite song, but the best part was that I got to meet him personally later. I had what Tara calls a "personal elevator experience" with Flame and his wife!!! haha....good times.....Mom and Kalyn both had a good message, and I got to video Kalyn. Hopefully I didn't ruin it!!! But over all it was a pretty good trip, and the best part is that we were able to be used by God!!! Mom is in Atlanta today, so keep her in your prayers!!

The 90 year old Man

There once was a man who was rather wealthy. He lived in a beautiful house surrounded by a magnificent yard. However as he started to get older and his health started to decline, he was forced to move into an old and rather plain nursing home. The day he was moved into the nursing home, he met a man he knew from a while back. The nurse was pushing him in his wheelchair, and he began to talk to this man. The man asked him how he liked his room, and he immediantly expressed his delight with his accomadations. They finished their conversation and the nurse wheeled him back down the hallway. The nurse was quietly pondering something, and then hesitantly broached the subject. She said "Sir, no offense, but you just told that man how much you loved your room, and you haven't even see it yet.", He responded with a smile and said "I know, but i have already decided that I love it!".

I was reminded of this story today, and what a powerful concept it represented. We have the choice of how we are going to respond to the situations around us. We, like the man in the story, can decide early on that no matter what happens, we are going to love the results. If we do that, we can live a life of so much joy, peace and contentment no matter what our circumstances look like!!!

Loving Life from the Beginning,
Hannah

Not of this World

Recently I have been reminded that we as Christians, are not of this world. God has redeemed us and we are His sons(and daughters). We should not become involved in "civilian" affairs. We are to be "in the world, but not of the world". We should reach out and help people out of the darkness, but we should not join the darkness to do it. We have a Savior and "Hero" who has saved us and we need to work, function and live in His Kingdom, not the Kingdom of this world. As Trip Lee puts it, we are "Between Two Worlds." We live and breath in one world, while we operate out of another.

Trip Lee has a new album called "Between Two Worlds which helps summarize this...Check out His new video "The Invasion (Hero)"

Life!!!

Life is often hectic and crazy. You can so often get caught up in the moment and forget to look at the picture as a whole. Its like the expression "you miss the forest for the trees". You look at what is right before you and get so engrossed with that, you forget the reason you were created.....for Him. Its is so easy to get wrapped up in what may be good things, yet they are distracting you from focusing on He who created you. I know personally, I do this often. For instance, I can be so focused on teaching Children's Church, or doing dramas or cleaning this or that, and I forget that on my own.....it amounts to nothing.

So my goal for myself today is,
Be like Mary instead of Martha....focus on Him, instead of what I can do or accomplish. Look at what He is doing as a whole in my life and His ministry. Let me always remember that my life and everything I do is HIS ministry...not mine.

Listening and focusing on Him,
Hannah

The Best Time of the week!!

I have to say without a doubt the best time of the week is 1:00-8:00 Saturday. The reason? DC CAFE!!!!
At 1:00 we have accountability which is a completely awesome time where we cry out to God and worship Him with all our heart. At about 3:00 we go out into the neighborhoods and invite people to come to our free dinner. I love it when we have sodas or candy to pass out....that makes it much more fun!!! People actually want to talk to you then!!! I love driving up in the big bus to a certain street where a lot of kids live.  They come pouring out of their houses and start a riot trying to talk to you and trying to get a soda...they are CRAZY!!! But tons of fun!!!
After we have invited people, we head back to the church for our instructions and food. Then we open the doors and start ministering to people who need Him.....We then have a short service and a dessert bar....good stuff...But the best part....Children's ministry!! I love talking to the little kids and just having a good time being with them. After its all over....we take everyone home in the bus.....scary!!! But incredible!!!! We have everything from riots to parties, contests to fights....but we always make it home....and have a GREAT time!!!
God has blessed us so much and I am excited to see what he will do in the future!!
Having fun serving Him,
Hannah

Tell'em

We as Christians have a message like no other message. We have a message of hope and redemption. We should not be ashamed of what we have!! We need to tell the world about Who we have!! No matter how many times we mess up, we got to get back up and continue to tell'em!!! Even though we are sinful human beings, we need to step out, take the forgiveness He offers us, and tell the World!!

No matter what we MUST tell'em!!! Check out this video.....Level 3:16 - Tell Em (Internal Conflict) Music ...

Don't Waste Your Life!!

Recently my dad and brother have been preaching about not wasting your life. This is a message I love!!! God gave us one life to live and we should live it completely for Him!!

Lecrae has a music video we have shown often at REALITY and Victory Dream Center, and I believe it is an awesome representation of the truth.....check it out...Don't Waste Your Life Video - Lecrae

Harlem Globetrotters

I just got back from the SIU Arena where I went with some of my family to watch the Harlem Globetrotters. It was one of the craziest things I have seen!!! I personally think they were more like clowns then basketball players....but they were good at dunking!!! They would dunk from everywhere and made it really fun!!! They had pretty good attendance and did a good job involving the crowd. It was a cool experience and one I will never forget!!! Thanks for taking us Dad!!! Hannah Btw... Blogging from my iPod so kinda difficult!!!!

Shopping!!!

I LOVE to shop!!! Theres just something about going to the mall, or any other store, and looking for the "perfect" outfit for you!!! Sometimes I don't even buy anything, but just the act of shopping can be soooo much fun!!! My favorite stores to shop at are: Rue 21 (I love that place cause it is so cheap!!), Aeropostale (i like their jeans), Old Navy (loooove the flip flops!!), Kohls (a little bit of everything), and last but not least.......TJ Maxx!! (this place is CRAZY). Its most fun to go shopping with your friends or family....shopping by yourself just isn't the same.

Sooooo my point today.....i don't really know.....just enjoy life!!!

Competition!!!

I don't know about you, but I am pretty competitive. The littlest thing in life can become a competition for me.  I want to win in everything I do, and be the best at every opportunity that arises. Sometimes this is good, and sometimes it can get me into trouble. For instance, when I am in the middle of a basketball (like I will be tonight), my competitive spirit will rise up, and I will do anything to win that game. But sometimes I can become so focused on winning in everything, I can hurt other people on the way to victory. I want to be the kind of person who wants to win, but takes people with me to success, instead of pushing them into defeat.
So my suggestion today.....take people with you to victory instead of pushing them behind.

Completely Competitive,
Hannah

Where is True Life Coming From?

With Christmas and New Years behind us, we often feel empty and bored. We must recognize once again that we should not draw our life from the things of this world. Just as my dad was talking about today in family devotions, we must draw our life from the life-giver and not the life-drainer!! His Word will sustain us!! We often get wrapped up in what we are currently doing, planning or looking forward to, but we should be wrapped up in what He is doing!! The life God offers us, is much more fulfilling than what the world is offering us. So my point today is, live every day focusing on Him instead of the disappointments, difficulties and brief excitements of this world!

Stay focused on Him,
Hannah

About Me

Hi!! My name is Hannah! I am passionately in love with my Creator and I am focusing my life on Him!! I have 3 sisters and 6 brothers, 1 sister-in-law, 1 brother-in-law, 1 niece, 1 nephew, and another niece or nephew on the way!!!! I created this blog(with the help of my sister-in-law) to simply enjoy life!!! I hope that as you read my blog you will be inspired to live life to the fullest for Him!!! I want to leave you today with Psalm 56:4 which says "In God, whose Word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can mortal man do to me?"

            Keep trusting in Him,
            Hannah
